Student Guidance Requirements

1. Proof of Means of Financial Support (required):

Having at least 35 000 CAD on the bank account of the applicant or the sponsor
This amount is for only one person, if you will be accompanied by any family member, add 5000 CAD per each.

2. Passport information Page: a passport must be valid for at least 6 months (required)

3. Digital Photo (required)

4. Proof of upfront medical exam if applicable (optional)

5. Minor traveling alone or with one parent must provide authorization document from both parents (if applicable)

6. Photocopy of your Current Immigration Status:

If your country of residence differs from your country of citizen (if applicable)

7. Marriage certificate (if applicable)

8. Criminal record (if applicable)

9. Travel History (if applicable)

10. Any additional documents (if applicable)

1. EDUCATION LEVEL

Our loans provide financial assistance exclusively to students pursuing undergraduate and postgraduate programs that lead to graduation within either a one- or two-year timeframe.

2. ELIGIBLE PROGRAMS

STEM: Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics

Apprenticeship programs such as construction, electricity, etc

Tourism and Hospitality programs

Education related programs

Personal Support Work (PSW)

Health related programs

Nursing related program

George Brown College ("eligible programs" ONLY)

You may also bring your admission for the programs specified as 'eligible programs" from the following universities:

4. ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS

Most programs require pass mark of 60% in the previous academic programs

5. AMOUNT AVAILABLE 

Each successful candidate can receive up to a maximum of $60,000 CAD as a loan. That covers:

Tuition fees up to 2 years

Living expenses up to 1 year

NOTE:

1. Applicants have the option to select a loan for tuition fees only, or for both tuition fees and living expenses, or for a specific portion they need.

2. Please note that our loan covers 75% of the total amount required to complete the study program. Applicants are expected to provide the remaining 25% and submit it directly to the school as an upfront payment right after being selected.

6. INTEREST RATE 

Our students loan interest rate is approximately 12% of the principal amount borrowed.

7. DOCUMENTS NEEDED

Notarized academic documents

8. ENGLISH REQUIREMENTS 

English requirement is waived for "eligible programs at Gorge Brown College through Resolved partnership

9. INTERVIEW

There will be an interview at the final stage of getting this loan
